If you start from the heart then the body will rise And if you start from the soul then the heart will shine And it's all about finding the right time To make a point to cherish those insides And if such actions are taken, then the body will find That those instinctual pleasures come from the mind So if you begin from a place of solidarity, of common space You will find we'll coincide on those ideas, those feelings of our time And it's all about keeping the soul alive Though the mind may succeed, the conscience will fail Yes though the mind may succeed, the conscience will fail Yeah though the mind may succeed, the conscience will fail To be blind So if you find a feasible solution to all those lines you may try Then take a hint, take a wince, take a moment to analyze It's not the light that you may shine But rather the reflection in your eyes Yes it's just a matter of distance from the the source Yes it's just a matter of distance from the the source Yes it's just a matter of distance from the the source Yes it's just a matter of distance from the the source To the sight And as the body ages, the soul begins to fly And you will realize that satisfaction is the climax Of the life

Well, I remember when we were a little bit younger And back then I called you my best friend And though the times might have changed I wouldn't trade them for any other Yeah I love those memories and I'll cherish them until the very end And it's all about how to make the moments last It's about hanging on to the present before it turns past It's about loving every little obstacle that your life may give And if this is the only life that I have, it's gonna be the one I want to live So some might say that it helped in building character For stuck with it in both the highs and the lows And were the decisions made there the best? Well, I'm not so sure But as we walk down this trail, we notice the fork in the road And it's all about how to make the moments last It's about hanging on to the present before it turns past It's about loving every little obstacle that your life may give And if this is the only life that I have, it's gonna be the one I want to live So I guess this is the point where I get off For I left that town, yes I left my past behind And it seems like every incident in which I've been lost You've helped me find my way back to what feels right And it's all about how to make the moments last It's about hanging on to the present before it turns past It's about loving every little obstacle that your life may give And if this is the only life that I have, it's gonna be the one I want to live

So it's all in the work of the heart Containing all the keys of the art Of courtship before the night has it's part From the new light and a new day to start And if the Summer comes this year, it'll be more understood How the rain and the snow reflects the inner good And I want something new for my skin to feel Oh how I long for something I believe is real So the brain often spirals my sense of time And it's the owner's curse in believing these moments go by And I'm not out to profit this livelihood I just want a source of remorse more understood And if the Summer comes this year, it'll be more understood How the rain and the snow reflects the inner good And I want something new for my skin to feel Oh how I long for something I believe is real So refrain those common strains you may hide For it's less of the mood and more of the mind And like how an infection may flow if infected right It begins with controlling your chameleon eyes And if the Summer comes this year, it'll be more understood How the rain and the snow reflects the inner good And I want something new for my skin to feel Oh how I long for something I believe is real

The Silence 03:24
In the meek hours of the silence Laying still with our bodies and our mouths kept quiet Just perfection in its pristine state with no reason to deny it Though it takes such an ache to finally realize it And I've been burning bridges that I know I'll need to cross Not realizing how great a love is, until that love is lost And I know now the feeling of a love so intertwined But the beauty didn't prolong until the end of time And I want to live in that dream Yes I want to live in that dream Yeah I want to live in that dream Oh I want to live in that dream So I'm left with a broken heart by the time I feel empty inside and I'm contemplating the body's existence when the mind just wants to die And if you've never truly loved, then you've never truly lived And I always truly hoped that the love would never end And I want to live in that dream Yes I want to live in that dream Yeah I want to live in that dream Oh I want to live in that dream

Soul Sailor 04:33
We're the soul sailors sailing on home We're gonna find out little hearts of gold We're gonna see the world and what it has to hold Oh we're the soul sailors sailing on home We're gonna find out little hearts of gold We're gonna see the world and what it has to hold And I might not be the greatest man And I might not have the warmest hands But there's no crossing my fingers When I swear that I love you And I might not be the type of guy That you'd want to spend the rest of your life with But I hope you can at least say You love me too Oh we're the soul sailors sailing on home We're gonna find out little hearts of gold We're gonna see the world and what it has to hold Oh we're the soul sailors sailing on home We're gonna find out little hearts of gold We're gonna see the world and what it has to hold But if you're searching for a lengthy love Or a star-crossed lover from the heavens above I hope you might pick me from among the stars But if that's not your obligation Well, then that wasn't really my inclination And I guess I'll have to keep searching for my heart of gold Oh we're the soul sailors sailing on home We're gonna find out little hearts of gold We're gonna see the world and what it has to hold Oh we're the soul sailors sailing on home We're gonna find out little hearts of gold We're gonna see the world and what it has to hold

Mirror 01:54
Do you hear the sound? Is that a hint of crying? It must be coming from the man We've all known sometime He has a broken heart Don't know where to start He is empty inside And doesn't care if he dies And you ask him what's wrong? And his problems are yours He feels the pain you feel And that's all that he feels And you think you know his name For he looks familiar And then you realize You're looking in a mirror

From the heart of my heart I can feel my soul 'wakin' From the heart of my heart I can feel my soul takin' From the heart of my heart I can feel my soul breathin' And breathin' breathin' breathin' And from the heart of my heart I can feel my soul a risin' From the heart of my heart I can feel my soul dyin' From the heart of my heart I can feel my soul breathin' And breathin' breathin' breathin' And from the heart of my heart I can feel my soul rise From the heart of my heart I can feel my soul kiss the sky From the heart of my heart I can feel my soul flyin' flyin' flyin' and dyin' flyin' and lovin' and leavin' and leavin' and leavin'

Lover for another I couldn't wait all that time Fever, just a leaver Though not abandoned, still petrified The decisions, no revisions No real chance to refine Though the soil, too big a toil And different voices on different sides And I love you and I leave you and I die With only dreams of your arms open wide But not even the dream was kept alive Yes, it's a bitter change only you could decide So I closed my eyes And a new life arrived Yes I closed my eyes And you had already said goodbye Goodbye Yes, I'm just a little dot beneath the Earth's little sky And I guess I floated away in this stream of time Yes, I'm just a little dot beneath the Earth's little sky And I guess that I floated away in this stream of time And I never thought I'd die if I never truly lived And I never thought you'd cry from the love you couldn't give But this wasn't a result of anything that you did Though the strings have been cut, leaving just two lives to live

It's so quiet out here on these suburban streets Not even a car or a train can be heard Yeah this town has a population, but it feels like it's only me Now that the snow has come and covered this Earth But all this is going to melt And all this ice is going to thaw And it might take awhile before I see everyone else But a temporary solitary life isn't too bad after all Yeah those layers of white Winter are so thick And if I laid down I'd be swallowed whole But I wouldn't want to do such a thing unless I wanted to get sick And my health is something that I'd rather keep controlled But all this is going to melt And all this ice is going to thaw Yeah, it might take awhile before I see everyone else But a temporary solitary life isn't too bad after all So as a child I always wanted a snow day And now that day, that day has come But I no longer live a life in such a childlike state Yeah I've forgotten just exactly where I've come from And all this is going to melt And all this ice is going to thaw And it might take awhile before I see everyone else But a temporary solitary life isn't too bad after all Yeah all this is going to melt And all this ice is going to thaw And it might take awhile before I see everyone else But a temporary solitary life isn't too bad after all

The beautiful land I see Oh It's all around me The beautiful, the beautiful land From the breath of the ocean breeze To the tops of the Doug Fir trees Oh this is where I want to be In the beautiful land Now I took a trip, left home To the Northern port sea And once more to the neighboring country And now I'm in love with the beautiful land The beautiful land I see Oh It's all around me oh oh, oh oh, the beautiful land Yes the forests flourish out here Like home and I know That the Northwest is the place for me And I may wander away But I will never wander astray For I will always come back to I will always come back to The beautiful land Yes I will always come back To the beautiful land The beautiful land I see Oh It's all around me oh oh, oh oh, the beautiful land The beautiful land I see Oh It's all around me oh oh, oh oh, the beautiful land
11.
As I've tried, to find the time, to lend a line Just a needle in a haystack in a sty And if you can spot me out with your little eye Feel free to pick me up, polish off, and refine So don't feel blind if you cannot find Or if you can pay no mind, no just relax and unwind For it's those with all the questions who will search for all the answers Till the end of time But there's never time, it's all in the mind And as we age, our bodies die And our minds may fly, but they're pushed aside For the newcomer's torch of eyes Is the forecomer's blind And they're pushed aside for they have no life
12.
Near to afar The moon and the stars Are shining tonight Passerby on the go Oh they're never know What happens beneath this night sky Alone in the woods Oh I can tell you everything That I know And we'll pull up our hoods from the cold And set this in stone These are the moments that I want to last To last, to last, oh these are the moments that I want to last To last, to last, oh these are the moments that I want to last And tell me your secrets, show me your scars Tell me the things that they'll never hear And bundled all up, let's learn how to love Let's lend those lines to please the ears So in the beginning, is this how it felt? Or have emotions grown stronger still? Oh is this the way of the ancestors, the archetype? Oh is this the instinctive will? Oh how I have longed for this moment This tender eclipse The soft breath of the root of your lips Oh in my years I have seen but not understood Had no standard for which to compare life's beauties And tell me your secrets, show me your scars Tell me the things that they'll never hear And bundled all up, let's learn how to love Let's lend those lines to please the ears

Sad Sailor 03:46
Sad, sad sailor says don't be alone For you're bound to find a lover for you to hold But I just wanna find my little heart of gold And the closest thing I've found broke my heart to free my soul And if I jump into that river with all my clothes on, Will it take me home? And if I jump into that river with all my clothes on, Will it take me home? Will it take me home? Will it take me home? So burn it like rubber, my heart's a fiery flame And the ashes are the remnants of the longevity of my name And I may spill out all my secrets and open up my heart So you better be careful baby or it'll break apart And if I jump into that river with all my clothes on, Will it take me home? And if I jump into that river with all my clothes on, Will it take me home? Will it take me home? Will it take me home? So if actions are reactions to the happenings of life, I'll try to react more clearly without all the toil and strife And I'm not a little loser now, but maybe I am So if that's the case I'll disappear, so get ready for me to rise again And if I jump into that river with all my clothes on, Will it take me home? And if I jump into that river with all my clothes on, Will it take me home? Will it take me home? Will it take me home?
14.
Oh the light of the moon will guide me home Oh the light of the moon will guide me home And wherever I roam, I won't be alone For the light of the moon will guide me home So I broke in my new sneakers They're thin, but they'll do And I'll walk home in them slowly By the light of the moon And wherever I roam, I won't be alone Oh wherever I roam, I won't be alone For the light of the moon will guide me home Yes the light of the moon will guide me home And the clouds are the lands of the sky Yes the clouds are the lands of the sky And they'll take a little speedy drift And before you know it, they've gone off and gone by Oh the clouds are the lands of the sky So there's a fire in the depths of my soul And it'll burn until it's burned out of control And everything in it's path will be swallowed whole To devour the Earth leaving new soil and new life to grow Oh the light of the moon will guide me home Oh the light of the moon will guide me home And wherever I roam, I won't be alone For the light of the moon will guide me home And it's a lovely road, my dear There's not even a creature or a car on the road But by the light of the moon I know That I will be guided home Oh the light.... Oh the light.... Oh the light.... Oh the light.... Save my soul, save my soul The mouth of this world's gonna swallow me whole Save my soul, save my soul The mouth of this world's gonna swallow me whole Oh the light of the moon will guide me home Oh the light of the moon will guide me home Oh the light of the moon will guide me home Oh the light of the moon will guide me home

about

"After a little over eleven years, I'm so happy to finally be digitally releasing my album 'Realms Of Love' from 2009 on all the platforms, mastered for the first time by Andrew Endres with art by Folke Patron! As many of you may know, I've been doing this shit since I was 15, half my life ago in Canby, Oregon back in 2005. Since everything I know to do, all my mixing techniques and every instrument I play was self-taught, most of my really early recordings weren't too interesting as I was still figuring things out, experimenting with recording techniques, sound effects, songwriting, etc and essentially using music as a way to catalogue my life and philosophical beginnings. Though these recordings exceptionally lo-fi and often lacking in basic things like being on beat or in tune, because I made hundreds of them before graduating high school, it made everything a lot easier when I got a Macbook and an ok USB mic I could start recording in Garageband with when I went off to Oregon State University the last time the economy crashed in a big way at the end of 2008. In my little high school, I was known as a good skater and a bad musician, something I was really sensitive about, so it was kind of like a fresh start when I went off to college and started focusing just on the music and collaborating with a bunch of new people. Most everything on the album was recorded in my dorm room in Poling Hall pictured behind me in this photo on the 3rd floor, the cheapest dormitory on campus where I went into a sort of melancholic state not being used to being surrounded by so many people and sharing such a small space with a roommate. Spring came exceptionally early in 2009 and I found myself in a young love, my first serious relationship, a state of lightness. I began venturing into the forests around my new home of Corvallis, Oregon, exploring new places and experimenting with my sound and voice in a way I never had before, inspired by the folk, psych, and freak folk artists before me. The songs are simple, yet complex, young and innocent, yet speaking to something that perhaps even I was unaware of at the time. The following album is the result. Eleven years later and it still holds up - a gift to the people from a teenage Bee Appleseed."
